DFA@Waterproof System Innovative applications of DFA®waterproofing system in four major engineering fields
The DFA®waterproofing system,leveraging its breakthroughs in material science and systematic solutions,has established differentiated technological advantages in four major fields:civil architecture,commercial buildings,municipal transportation,and industrial plants.Through a triple adaptation mechanism of"material-structure-environment",this system addresses core pain points in traditional waterproofing,such as delamination,water seepage,and poor durability,becoming a benchmark technology in the field of modern engineering waterproofing.
1.Civil architecture

1.Roofing system:It adopts a composite system consisting of DFA non-cured rubber asphalt waterproof coating and DFA 4.0mm self-healing self-adhesive modified asphalt waterproofing membrane.The non-cured coating fills the micro-cracks in the base layer due to its creep resistance,while the self-adhesive membrane with polyester tire cord fabric provides puncture resistance.It has been tested to maintain elasticity in an environment ranging from-25℃to 105℃,solving the cracking problem caused by thermal expansion and contraction of traditional membranes.
2.Basement system:The floor slab should be pre-paved with DFA high-density tire asphalt waterproofing rolls,which,through the pre-paving and anti-adhesion process,forms full adhesion with the post-cast concrete,achieving a water resistance of 0.6 MPa.The side walls utilize two layers of DFA polymer film-based self-adhesive waterproofing rolls,whose"self-locking water"performance limits leakage to a localized area,preventing overall failure.
3.Toilet system:The floor is coated with DFA environmentally friendly polyurethane waterproof paint,with a tensile strength of 6MPa and outstanding resistance to substrate deformation.The walls are coated with DFA high-strength polymer cement-based waterproof mortar,which can be applied on wet substrates and enhances the bond strength with tiles by 40%.
II.Commercial Buildings

1.Planting roof:DFA high-performance non-cured rubber asphalt waterproof coating+DFA chemically root-resistant and root-puncture-resistant modified asphalt waterproofing membrane are used.The coating provides self-healing ability,and the membrane blocks plant roots,meeting the Class I waterproofing standard of JGJ155-2013.
2.Metal roofing:DFA thermoplastic polyolefin(TPO)waterproofing membrane is applied,fastened to the vapor barrier and insulation layer through mechanical fasteners.The joints are welded using hot air welding technology,with a peel strength of 3.5N/mm and a theoretical service life of 50 years.
3.Indoor space:The floor of the bathroom uses polyurethane paint,and the walls employ polymer cement-based mortar to achieve a"zero water leakage"design.The planting area on the basement roof adopts a root-resistant membrane compounded with non-curing paint,which has undergone a 3-year plant root growth test and shown no leakage.
III.Municipal Traffic

1.Subway tunnel:DFA polymer self-adhesive film HDPE waterproofing membrane is used,which forms full adhesion with post-cast concrete through the pre-paving and anti-adhesion process,with a water penetration resistance of 0.6 MPa,solving the problem of water penetration in underground spaces.
2.Roof of high-speed railway station:The roof system employs a composite of DFA high-performance non-cured rubber asphalt waterproof coating and DFA internally reinforced self-adhesive polymer modified asphalt waterproofing membrane,addressing water seepage and leakage issues on the roof.
3.Pipe gallery project:The application of DFA high-performance non-curing coating and DFA elastomer SBS modified asphalt membrane composite system,with the coating filling concrete shrinkage cracks and the membrane providing puncture resistance,has been tested to be leak-free under a water pressure of 5MPa.
IV.Industrial plant

1.Ground system:DFA high-molecular strong cross-laminated membrane wet-laid self-adhesive roll material is used.The cross-laminated membrane structure enhances the tear strength by 3 times,and combined with polyurethane coating,it forms a rigid-flexible composite system with an impact resistance of 5kJ/m².
2.Equipment foundation:Apply DFA cementitious capillary crystalline waterproof coating to achieve"zero-gap"connection technology.Through high-pressure spraying,the coating penetrates 2mm into the base layer,eliminating capillary pores.It has been tested to be crack-free under the rolling pressure of a 10-ton forklift.
Steel structure roof:It adopts the DFA thermoplastic polyolefin(TPO)waterproofing membrane mechanical fastening system,which has excellent weather resistance and can withstand ultraviolet aging,with a theoretical service life of 50 years.
