On March 28, 2019, Chen Xing, Secretary of the Zhumadian Municipal Party Committee, led a city wide key project construction observation team to visit the Lanling Huanke Pingyu Waterproof Industrial Park to review the effectiveness of project construction. Zhang Huaide first introduced the development and project construction of the Pingyu County Industrial Agglomeration Zone. In 2018, Pingyu County adhered to the strategy of building an industrial strong county, taking open investment and project construction as key links in forging chains, building clusters, and revitalizing industries, and vigorously promoting the development of industrial clusters. At present, there are 252 enterprises settled in the industrial cluster zone, including 156 enterprises above designated size and 24 new industrial enterprises above designated size, ranking first in the city. fixed assets investment and tax revenue increased by 23.1% and 27.6% respectively year on year. Li Wei, Chairman of Lanling Environmental Science and Technology, gave a detailed introduction to the Pingyu Waterproof Industrial Park project. He mentioned that the Lanling Huanke Pingyu Waterproof Industrial Park started construction in October 2017, covering an area of 226 acres with a total investment of 600 million yuan. It was officially put into operation at the end of 2018. Establishing the concept of "technology led, intelligent manufacturing, and green development", a domestic design team was hired, and the overall planning and design were personally reviewed and approved by Chao Wenge, the president of the China Academy of Building Waterproofing. Through cooperation with Mr. Wang Fuming, an academician of the CAE Member, and Professor Pang Xinchang, an expert of the Thousand Talents Program, we introduced the German intelligent management system, built a domestic intelligent factory, and established the first academician workstation in the domestic waterproof industry.

The observation team went deep into various workshops of Lanling Environmental Science and Technology Co., Ltd. to understand the project construction situation, production equipment, process flow, and supporting facilities. Arriving at the self-adhesive roll production line, a fully automatic robotic arm caught the attention of the observation group. "Using this robotic arm can save 8 manual labor and greatly improve production efficiency," Li Wei said.

Lanling Huanke Pingyu Waterproof Industrial Park has 8 international and domestic high-end intelligent building material production lines, equipped with advanced production technologies and supporting facilities from the United States, Italy, South Korea, Japan and other countries. The first polymer coating production line in China with a width of 4 meters can customize and produce products for large-scale national infrastructure projects such as tunnels and dams. After full production, it has 5 categories, 26 series, and 168 types of products including waterproof rolls, waterproof coatings, waterproof insulation, and interior and exterior wall coatings. It is mainly used in various urban buildings, urban pipelines, subway tunnels, bridges, and other waterproof, anti-corrosion, and insulation projects.
