　　Film forms through solvent evaporation and the entanglement of polymer molecular chains;

　　Fast drying,forming a thin yet dense film;

　　Relatively simple production process and good storage stability;

　　Flammable,explosive and toxic,requiring strict safety precautions during production,storage and application;

　　Fast solvent evaporation causes environmental pollution during construction.

　　Water-Based Emulsion Waterproof Coatings

　　In these coatings,the main film-forming polymer materials are stably suspended(not dissolved)in water in fine particles(not molecular form),forming an emulsion.

　　They feature the following characteristics:

　　Film forms through water evaporation and the accumulation,contact and deformation of solid particles;

　　Slow drying,with lower compactness in single-coat film formation than solvent-based coatings;generally not suitable for application below 5°C;

　　Storage life usually no more than six months;

　　Can be applied on slightly damp substrates;

　　Non-toxic and non-flammable,safe in production,transportation and use;

　　Easy to operate and environmentally friendly;

　　Low production cost,commonly used for indoor waterproofing.
