President Li Weihua

Academic Vice President of North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power,Chief Scientist of Henan Academy of Sciences.

She earned her doctoral degree from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,Ocean University of China in 2006.From June 2006 to October 2007, she conducted postdoctoral researchat the Research Center for Marine Corrosion and Protection,Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

In 2015, she received funding from the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.In 2016, she was selected as a Leading Talent in Young and Middle-Aged Scientific and Technological Innovationand Outstanding Talent of Qingdao.In 2017, she was selected into the Aoshan Talent Program (Special Program for Distinguished Scientists).Also in 2017, she served as Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Sun Yat-sen University.In 2022, she was appointed Academic Vice President of North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power.

Li Weihua established an active protection method for marine engineering corrosion,proposed the theory of nano-loaded autocatalytic targeted rust inhibition for steel barsand the corrosion inhibition theory of marine biological extracts,breaking through technical bottlenecks of traditional marine engineering corrosion protection.
